We had a wonderful weekend out and about with the community and on our home turf.

Great Cloth Diaper ChangeWe were invited to be a part of the 2017 Great Cloth Diaper Change (Real Diaper Association) an event that promotes and educates the use of cloth diapers. History:  Judy Aagard’s desire to celebrate Earth Day by hosting a family event for the Tiny Tots community quickly morphed into a dream to set a Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously.  Shortly thereafter, The Great Cloth Diaper ChangeSM 2011 was conceived and organized by a small group of cloth diaper enthusiasts that were eager to demonstrate that cloth diapers are a real option for today’s families. Attendees of the event here in Cedar City donated 96 pounds of food for our pantry and shelter. Thank you folks!

Students from SUU Athletics donate time to make us shine

On Saturday, we were visited by 31 students from SUU Athletics and witnessed them put elbow grease and lots of heart and soul into some important chores around our grounds. The students dusted, mopped, scrubbed, organized, mowed and pulled weeds.  We were tired just watching! The generous students donated 93 hours in total and gave ICCS some sparkle and shine to greet our clients. Thank you to this group of students for showing us exemplary service and kindness.

We appreciate every donation – hours, food, clothing, and kindness. ICCS is able to stay a strong resource in Iron County because our community cares and supports our mission of offering compassionate assistance to individuals and families in need.
