We work closely with other service providers in our area to ensure each individual gets the precise help they need.

As a community based non-profit advocacy organization that serves Beaver, Iron and Garfield counties, CCS provides free, confidential and comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. CCS also engages in community education and prevention programming to achieve our vision of “Communities Free of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault”. They serve all survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation or any other identity. CCS provides both immediate crisis and long-term, supportive advocacy services. Their team of advocates provide services including crisis intervention, case management, information and referral, court and medical advocacy, mental health referrals, housing support, emergency financial assistance, safety planning and more. CCS also provides emergency shelter services and assists survivors in obtaining safe, stable housing.

Cedar City Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low-income residents through the management of the area's Housing Choice Voucher Program – Section 8. This program is income based, and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for these vouchers.

The Homeless Veterans Fellowship provides transitional housing and supportive services for Veterans and their families who are homeless or about to become homeless. They serve every Utah county except Salt Lake.

The Utah Food Bank Southern Distribution Center offers emergency food assistance in Iron, Beaver, Garfield, Kane, and Washington counties. Resources and services include mobile pantries, mobile school pantries, free summer meals for kids, and food pantry services from the Hurricane Valley Food Pantry.

Community Action Partnership stabilizes and empowers low-income households in moving towards self-sufficiency. This is done by leveraging Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) funding with other federal, state, and private funding sources to build partnerships with faith-based, public, non-profit, and for-profit entities; identify and meet changing community needs; and engage community members (including through volunteerism).
