Volunteers are the heartbeat of Iron County Care and Share. From sorting food to preparing meals, your time and compassion help keep our programs running and our community cared for.

Whether you’re volunteering solo or as a group, getting started is easy!

  3. Check your email for a confirmation

  4. We’ll contact you to schedule your orientation

Food Pantry

  • sort donations

  • stock shelves

  • assemble food boxes

  • assist with light janitorial tasks

Some projects may be arranged directly with our Executive Director.

 

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m.
Occasional Fridays and weekends as needed

 

​Emergency Shelter

  • answer phones

  • greet clients

  • distribute supplies

  • assist case managers.

Shelter Meal Program

Love to cook? Share a family-style meal with our shelter guests — bring food, conversation, and kindness.

 

Requirements:

  • Background check

  • Food handler’s permit

Email us at info@careandshare-ut.org to schedule your meal.

Special Projects

We occasionally organize community-focused special projects.

Proof of Hours

​​Need Proof of Service Hours?

If you're volunteering to meet school, court, or agency requirements:

  • You must clock in and out using the Username and Password we assign

  • We do not track hours manually

  • When you're finished, you may request a confirmation of your total hours
