Current Initiatives
Running Iron County Care and Share requires a dedicated team, countless hours of work, and the invaluable support of our community.
Every day, we provide food, shelter, and essential services to those in need—but maintaining our facilities and expanding our services also means we sometimes need to ask for a little extra help.
To ensure we can keep our doors open and provide a safe, welcoming environment, we periodically fundraise for specific projects and repairs. These initiatives make it possible for us to keep up with the demands of our facilities and to continue offering the critical resources that so many in our community rely on. Whether it’s a repair to our drainage systems, new winter supplies for our guests, or an update to our kitchen equipment, each project directly contributes to the health, comfort, and dignity of our community members.
How You Can Help
Your support—whether a donation, volunteering, or simply spreading the word—goes a long way.
By contributing to our current initiatives, you’re helping to make our community a stronger, more compassionate place for everyone.
Thank you for standing with us and for making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Together, we can keep our community safe and supported.

Help Us Build a Village – One Tiny Home at a Time
We’re turning big dreams into small homes. Iron County Care and Share is launching a Tiny Home Village to provide safe, stable housing for individuals transitioning out of homelessness.
Located right next to our shelter and pantry, this village will offer a true continuum of care, supporting people from crisis to stability.

Light Up Our Shelter!
Help us light the way to safety and comfort! We’re launching a campaign to replace our damaged light poles, enhancing security and visibility for everyone who seeks refuge at our shelter. These durable, resilient fixtures will create a brighter, more welcoming environment, making a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Help Feed Over 600 Families a Month
Every month, Iron County Care and Share provides Family Food Boxes to over 600 households across Iron County.
These boxes contain healthy staples, pantry essentials, and seasonal items, ensuring that families in need have access to nutritious food.
