Local Businesses and Family Make Donations

The months of summer are historically the lowest donation months for the pantry. This year is no exception and the past month we received several generous donations that are helping make a difference:  Papa Murphy’s in Cedar City help a food drive in their store and collected 226 pounds of food and a bonus $6.01 in cash. 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The Iron County Care and Share (ICCS) announces the 5th Annual “Drive Out Hunger” Charity Golf Tournament. The event is the largest annual fundraiser for the organization and is crucial in providing food pantry, emergency shelter and essential services to Iron County and surrounding areas. Iron County Care and Share Recognizes Outstanding Board Members

The Iron County Care and Share (ICCS) recognized the service of two members of the board of directors for their years of outstanding service to the organization. Cherri Delgado (2014-16) and Sr. Yvonne Hatt (1998-2016) were celebrated during the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors and presented with plaques showcasing their years of service. ICCS Welcomes Donation from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation

Iron County Care and Share Welcomes Donation from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation $3,000 was received to build and maintain programs for the homeless population. Food Drive Successes

May 2016 – Stamp Out Hunger Local postal carriers collected and delivered over 5000 pounds of food from residents in Cedar City.
