Permanent Supportive-Housing

Permanent Supportive Housing is a proven, effective means of reintegrating chronically homeless and other highly vulnerable homeless families and individuals with psychiatric disabilities or chronic health challenges into the community by addressing their basic needs for housing and providing ongoing support.

Iron County Care and Share owns and manages a housing program that offers rent reasonable rooms to four low income individuals transitioning from homelessness. This housing program also offers housing for three chronically homeless individuals in our Permanent Supportive Housing units.

The clients in our PSH program meet with a case manager weekly. Our case manager assists them in obtaining the services which are needed for their long term recovery from homelessness. We help the individual obtain necessary counseling and medical treatment, along with budgeting and life skills education.
