Iron County Care and Share supports the idea of ‘housing first’ as adopted by the state of Utah. We have experienced the success of our clients that were provided safe shelter, rental assistance, supportive case management, and increased self-sustainability.

Lee is our Housing and Homeless Prevention case manager and with just 4 months rental assistance, Lee’s client was able to lift herself out of crisis and danger and achieve great strides toward sufficiency. This rental assistance was provided with TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) a federal fund we have had over the last six years.
