Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you have a few hours or a few days, your time and talents can make a real difference.

Volunteer With Us

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Iron County Care and Share. From sorting food to preparing meals, your time and compassion help keep our programs running and our community cared for.

Volunteer Sign-up

Pantry Volunteer

Pantry volunteers help sort food and stock shelves during pantry hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00–11:00 AM.

Shelter Volunteer

Shelter volunteers provide meal service and exterior cleanup. Opportunities are available weekdays and weekends—mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Group Volunteer

Group volunteers typically work on larger projects and events that are coordinated directly with a manager. Scheduling is flexible and based on project needs.

Food Pantry

Pick up donated groceries from stores

Some projects may be arranged directly with our Pantry Manager

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m. Friday 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Emergency Shelter

Cook meals
Exterior cleaning/maintenance

Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, & holidays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Need Proof of Service Hours?

If you're volunteering to meet school, court, or agency requirements:

You must clock in and out using the Username and Password we assign
We do not track hours manually
When you're finished, you may request a confirmation of your total hours
